Matthew 8:5-10 “When Jesus had entered Capernaum, a centurion came to him, asking for help. 6 “Lord,” he said, “my servant lies at home paralyzed, suffering terribly.” 7 Jesus said to him, “Shall I come and heal him?” 8 The centurion replied, “Lord, I do not deserve to have you come under my roof. But just say the word, and my servant will be healed. 9 For I myself am a man under authority, with soldiers under me. I tell this one, ‘Go,’ and he goes; and that one, ‘Come,’ and he comes. I say to my servant, ‘Do this,’ and he does it.” 10 When Jesus heard this, he was amazed and said to those following him, “Truly I tell you, I have not found anyone in Israel with such great faith.” Matthew 7:24-25 “Therefore everyone who hears these words of mine and puts them into practice is like a wise man who built his house on the rock. 25 The rain came down, the streams rose, and the winds blew and beat against that house; yet it did not fall, because it had its foundation on the rock.” Matthew 7:26-27 “But everyone who hears these words of mine and does not put them into practice is like a foolish man who built his house on sand. 27 The rain came down, the streams rose, and the winds blew and beat against that house, and it fell with a great crash.” Growing Your Faith 1- Practical Bible Teaching: When your faith intersects with Practical Bible Teaching, your faith grows… The Word is taught simply and you just do it. Matthew 7:24 “Therefore everyone who hears these words of mine and puts them into practice is like a wise man who built his house on the rock. Matthew 7:26 But everyone who hears these words of mine and does not put them into practice is like a foolish man who built his house on sand, 2- Private Discipline: When you learned to pray / fast / give It’s not about Religion or Rules. It is about Discipline. (Private Discipline) When we decide to do something about our health, it takes discipline. Jesus said… “When you pray, go into your closet and close the door and pray to your Father who is in secret and He will reward you openly. Matthew 6:6
